Julie B. Aimen, Attorney at Law

Firm Profile

I am a solo practitioner so all my clients deal directly with me; however, I office with about fifteen other attorneys so there are always others to brain storm a matter with. It is important to me to have the input of others. This input acts as a check and balance in presenting a case that others can believe in. We share a secretary and runner who assist in the filing of matters.

I am a tireless advocate for my clients. I believe in zealous representation. I do not believe that a client should be sold out to the prosecution; however I do believe that in some instances, under some fact patterns, early negotiation is the best path to follow. The decision as to whether to negotiate is one that is made between the client and me. No one else is privileged to make that decision. I am a good listener, I operate in a systems fashion since you need the assistance of family, friends and the community in many instances to succeed.

My personal interests are just that, personal. I believe to be an advocate for others you must feed your intellect, your emotional and creative sides. For me that entails many things, but most of all taking some quiet time with my family and friends and traveling away from the work place. Physical activity alone or with my family is important to shake off the pressures of the job.
